I really enjoyed unwinding on the rooftop after long days! The nearby market was super handy for snacks.

Delicious and sensational breakfast, lots of options available. The marvellous and lovely location for the price, near to railway station and seafront as well as ocean front, hop -on bus and great restaurants. Also, in the centre of Nice close to a pedestrianised area with a number of restaurants.

Good hotel located close to all Nice has to offer.

The breakfast buffet is delicious with great staples.
I was shocked by the rudeness of the reception staff. Specifically, a guy. For over £300 per night, such disrespect is unacceptable, and it ruined what could have been an enjoyable stay.

A special treat was the sun terrace on the roof - complete with sun beds, umbrellas, toilets, tables. Ideal to sunbathe in the morning (it was very hot in Nice last week) and to enjoy a drink before going out for dinner.Breakfast was very good, a full range of food including hot dishes.
No complaints, it was everything a three star hotel should be and more

The location is super convenient, just a quick jaunt to the beach. The rooftop terrace was a perfect spot to unwind, and walking to restaurants was easy.

Staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast was very good. Beds were comfortable. Availability of computer in the lobby for internet use was very helpful for re-booking flights and trains given the train/plane cancellations caused by the strikes. Meant we didnt have to go out and search for an internet cafe to access the net. Not everyone carries a laptop/ I pad with them so having a computer to access on site was very useful!
The superior rooms were clean and comfortable but small. Could possibly be improved in terms of being re-decorated. Re decorating would render the rooms I stayed in more asthetically pleasing. Also sometimes the rooms were too warm at night. Air conditioning is too noisy when its put on as is leaving a window open. This is a general problem with most hotels, not just the Mercure!

I had a fantastic experience with a lovely, clean room and an excellent breakfast that exceeded expectations! The rooftop terrace was a perfect relaxation spot, but the hair dryer didn't work.

The air conditioning made a buzzing sound every 5 minutes-how charming. And don't even get me started on the rudest guy at the front desk. I asked about extending my stay. I nearly left a good review but just couldn't with these inconveniences. An upgrade or complimentary gesture woudl've been nice, right?

Location. Excellent breakfast. Good size room.
No towel racks in bathroom. Portable fridge to use dumped in a corner on the floor. Plenty of coffee and tea but only two nimbles of latte.

We found the staff very helpful and pleasant, our room was excellent and the breakfast very good. The location of the hotel could not be better as everything was within a five to ten minute walk. A great selection of restaurants could be found one street away and grimaldi place where buses could be caught to most places was on the doorstep. We will be returning next year.
